Skizo - Thaw Fashion Show work

this will be year two of donation of time to create artwork for the thaw fashion show in seattle to raise funds for huntington disease. the previous year we had created two graff murals, one was 8'x12' and the second was 8'x16'. this year we are working on some designs that are a little different but will still have a tie to graff. going for a stencil style look on 4 panels 4'x8' that will be suspended against a pillar wall.

this is a group of new pieces i have been working on for stickers, and out of sketchbooks. advancing the half wit concepts and evolving those characters some. i have been watching a lot of high def nature shows and pulling inspiration from that.

this is the last video of the seattle warehouse progress that i have shot so far. these 5 videos encompass just two days of painting and less than maybe 10 hours, and less than half the wall. there will be more video in the week to come, i thank you for watching and your interest in the project. this project is by skizo fa2hq and chase croft, the guitarist from seattle rock band Blood Hot Beat.

seattle legal wall day two

these are shots from the second session of our legal warehouse paint sessions. down in sodo district of seattle my bro and me have obtained a warehouse we can paint in. these are shots or our progress on our second session. hand brushing the wall as most of the paint we have is bucket, but that is fine with me. my good friend chase croft guitarist from seattle band Blood Hot Beat is helping me paint this bad boy, based off my illustrations and with his creative collaboration we will be doing this and other murals as long as we have the space and can get our hands on paint.

sculpt progress

so i think it is about time that Fa2hq came out with its own set of customizable vinyl figures. i have been working on some designs for some time and have finally pulled out my sculpting tools and are knee deep in the first conceptual figure. it has been a little while since i have sculpted but it seems to be coming back fairly quickly. remembering the mold making and pour process may take a little mental digging. JAKAE wanted me to post the process of the character as i create it. the photos below are the second set i have taken in the creation process so the figure is still rough and needs to be fine tuned before going to the mold process. this design is based off of one of Suk's early monsters because of the massive surface area and the opportunities to work with this form after the pour is completed. it will be poured solid so those individuals with dremels can sculpt into the character further customizing the piece to their own vision. i will upload more progress shots as i get further along in the sculpting process.

Skizo Luchadore

so a long time ago i started using this luchadore mask as a sticker identity. i have revised it a few times as time makes me see need for change in the look. i was able to squeeze this new version out recently. i plan on redrawing it to clean up some inconsistencies but wanted to see it in ink.
